Alright, entries like these take up like loads of time and with the whole season ahead lying ahead I think it's better to skim through the details.......
Blake Lewis once again was among the best performers last night. Especially with the whole Vocal Turntablism
the term he coined for the whole b-boxin sequence during his performance. It was AWESOME! Sure he did sound a little like Jamiraquai (don't know if the spelling's right) it's still amazing how he could do the whole thing while dancing and keeping the crowd HIGH! Though I really didn't understand why he dedicated a song like Virtual Insanity to his parents (0=
LOLZ
Brandon Rogers lacked the whole energy and despite being rude I really think Simon was right. Brandon is in a singing competition and his feelings aren't taken into consideration when judging his performance. I wouldn't be shocked if Brandon leaves on Friday.
Chris Sligh did a really good job. He's certainly got the voice and he's definately gonna make it to the top 5.
Simon really nailed Sanjaya Malakar's performance by saying it was like how parents ask their kids to perform after a lunch(yeah not exactly as interesting as Simon sounded but you get the message) I knew Simon would say something like that, during the performance I said it was Nursery Rhymish. Paula was right too. He really needs to do songs that match his age and all. Sanjaya looked alot like Micheal Jackson (0=
Jared Cotter did pretty good too. I missed Phil Stacey's performance but I can still say it must've been corny. Sundance Head reminded people why he was on the show last night but still an OK kindda performance. AJ Tabaldo and Nicholas Pedro (somehow the vox script won't lemme link Nicholas (0=) were pretty alright too.
Chris Richardson was really upbeat and everything but I really find it difficult to make out the lyrics.....
Alright I guess that's pretty much it.
I'm not going to watch tonight's performances which have started just now (10 pm PST) because I really am in no mood to stay up till 12 am (0=
I'll watch the repeat telecast at 3 pm tommorow afternoon Insha Allah.
Alright first of all I must mention that this season has probably got to be like the most boring one ever.
Atleast the last three episodes were. The judges keep going
'Nah it was pitchy'
'You're playin it safe'
'It was too big for you' <===== LOLZ i'm sure that's Simon's pun! keke
I'm seriously not happy with the start o' the season.
Now come the comments on last night's results.
Paul Kim yeah the bloke who didn't wear shoes until he got voted out, I was shocked to see him being voted out especially with someone shredding Nights in White Satin and then stomping on it and then sending one's neighbor's cat to pee on the shreds! Sundance or whatever he calls himself could probably earn more in the underground doing Metallica imitation. I really think Paul should've had another go!
Corny probably is the best word to describe Rudy with the 'All EYES on ME' kindda attitude. In a competition such as this, the contestants have to tap in all the public demand they can get and seriously Rudy despite being in the entertainment business neglected that!
The babe with the poodle perm-Sabrina Sloan has been watching the show since its inception and it surely has paid off she was amongst the only few to have gotten good remarks from the judges.
Seriously no comments about the Justin Timberlake lookalike Chris Richardson really couldn't make a word out of his performance and the jumping. His Dad rocks though (0=
The b-box bloke Blake Lewis is probably the most contemporary to quote Simon. I personally think so too, seriously despite the spike/mohawk/dyed hairdo, which i think is really kewl, he's turned out to be really good and not just some Nsync fan roflmao!
Selection of the Indian bloke Sanjaya Malakar really shows how unbiased the judges are however, I really must say the bloke needs like a total makeover. Just look at the resemblance between Sanjaya and Antara Mitra this chick from last year's Indian Idol. His performance was probably TERRIBLE and I'd compare it with Sundance's.
Amy Krebs was quite ok but it's not really shocking to see her go. The performances were so boring that I didn't stay up to watch Nicole Tranquillo's performance and can't really comment on it.
Talking about the Chris Daughtry's weird clone the navy bloke Phil Stacey I find him the least entertaining, well boring to say the least!
The bloke that whooped Simon's ass, Chris Sligh, with his TELETUBBIES remark really shows how quick witted he is. I liked his performance and I think his obesity and the poodle perm adds to his sarcastic impression.
jordin Spark (please notice the lower case J was intentional) is really bubbly and probably the only contestant that looks the age she confesses to be remember Mikalah Gordon from AI season 4? There are times when I really don't understand how people can look so old even in their teenages, more about that later!
I guess I should finish this update before it's time for me to write up another one (0=
May the best contestant win!
Ciao!
Finally I decided to do something about the hellish amount of fat that gives me the jelly like bounce.
It's DAY TWO and I've almost halved my diet.
Two little guavas for breakfast, a quarter of naan(bread) with curry for lunch and the same goes for dinner.
I compensate the feeble amount of food with loads o' water before mealtime and a guava or two.
Why guavas? the fruit's got more seeds than pulp keke
I normally eat two beef burgers with a mug o' coke but Day1 it was just one burger and Diet Pepsi(yeah regular pepsi sucks but the diet one is way better than Coke, no after taste)
Been hitting the gym since two days and walking for around 3 kilometers.
I just hope in a while I'd be able to see kewl clothes fit me nicely so I won't have to ask the salesman 'Ummmm could you give me a bigger size please?'
My arms and chest muscles are all badly stiff so I'm still waiting to start some exercises from SparkPeople they have a great way o' showing demo's o' exercises......
I'm really tired and dunno how i'm gonna stay up till 10 to watch American Idol. Anyways, wish me luck!
Toodles!
Alright fellas, the new season of American Idol has started and I've been so caught up in things that couldn't make my first entry (0=
